Welcome to the MetaSoccer Stars – by SURA tournament. The following information outlines all the rules and regulations pertinent to the execution and participation in the tournament.
The tournament is open to everyone. Participants can register with their own team at their respective competition level or apply for a SCHOLARSHIP within the Sura Gaming Discord through a form available in the MetaSoccer section. Registration will be done through the game platform, under "Community Tournaments."
Players can participate in 5 different categories, depending on their team's OVR: These tournaments, divided into categories, will be played once a week with a predetermined day for each.
*OVR= Average of the best 11 players on the team, not including SA.
The tournament will have a single-elimination format. The mode will be KO 2D, single leg only, and 2 matchesper day to preserve the competitor's energy. The quota is set at 16 teams per tournament. It should be noted that each player can register ONLY ONE TEAM PER DAILY TOURNAMENT; they cannot register multiple teams from the same wallet in each daily tournament.
It is allowed for the sameplayer to participate all 5 days with different teams. The entry fee for the tournament will be free. You won'tlose anything by participating!
At the end of the tournament, the top 4 players will be classified. This will allow them to participate in the GRANDFINAL, which will take place after the completion of the 4 qualifiers in EACH CATEGORY, with a date to be confirmed at the end of the qualifiers.
The total prize pool to be distributed daily per tournament will be USD 15 in MSU Token, with the percentages that will be clarified in the next section.
If a player resigns from their prize, it will be awarded to thenext player in line according to their position in theleaderboard. If no player is available, the prize will be considered null.
The prize payouts will be processed automatically through the MetaSoccer Platform. The MSU prize fundswill be found in the Sponsors' box, tied to the daily exchange rate at the time the tournament is played.
Any changes in its value due to market fluctuations are not the responsibility of the Tournament Organization.
A FINAL Tournament will be held for EACH CATEGORY. The top 4 from each qualifying tournament will qualify, totaling 16 teams per final. Each Final Tournament will be a single-elimination bracket, following the same format as the qualifying tournaments. The date will be determined after completing the 4 Qualifying Tournaments for each category.
A team that has already qualified for the final cannot compete again in the subsequent qualifiers for that same Grand Final in the same category.
CLARIFICATION: If a player has another team that meets the requirements, they can qualify it. EXAMPLE: Suppose a player qualifies their team MST#13 with OVR 57 on Wednesday for the grand final. They cannot participate in the following weeks with THIS SAME team, but they can play the next Wednesday(s) with their other self owned or Scholarship team, like SUR #77 with OVR 58, and potentially qualify for it. This way, they will reach THE GRANDFINAL with 2 different teams in the same category.
THE GRAND FINAL will be BY INVITATION ONLY, sent to the teams that have qualified, through the MetaSoccerplatform. Qualified teams will be posted on the SURA DISCORD.
We will have 5 different Finals, depending on the category of the qualifiers, each with the following prize distribution:
COMMON FINAL TOURNAMENT - TOTAL PRIZE POOL: USD 40
UNCOMMON FINAL TOURNAMENT - TOTAL PRIZE POOL: USD 60
RARE FINAL TOURNAMENT - TOTAL PRIZE POOL: USD 95
EPIC FINAL TOURNAMENT - TOTAL PRIZE POOL: USD 130
LEGENDARY FINAL TOURNAMENT - TOTAL PRIZE POOL: USD 175
If a player forfeits their prize, it will be awarded to the next player in line according to their position in the leader board. If no player is available, the prize will be considered null.
It should be noted that once THE GRAND FINAL has taken place, everything resets, and ALL teams can participate again in the new qualifiers.
The tournaments start on Monday, January 22
