Dear MetaSoccer family,
What an incredible year 2022 has been, for us and for the soccer metaverse! Let’s take a trip down memory lane and reflect on some of the main accomplishments we achieved together.
In just one year, we were able to establish license agreements with some of the biggest soccer stars in the world and have them represented as NFTs in the soccer metaverse. Thanks to Thomas Partey, Emiliano Martínez, Ronaldinho, Dani Carvajal, and Pablo Sarabia for joining this adventure and being a key part of the Icons Series!
But those weren’t the only ones to join us on this adventure. We also partnered with big names like Telefónica, Polygon, and Chainlink, as well as major gaming guilds like Sura Gaming Guild, OlaHeretics, IndiGG among others. Together we brought many advantages to our projects and communities.
MetaSoccer’s digital pitches, however, were the center stage of many goals scored. We delivered a lot of essential features that made the game experience significantly better and held worldwide competitions that allowed you to have fun and earn with the game.
There’s still more room to improve, and in early 2023 we’ll be ready to deploy some of the most awaited features.
Our team also grew a lot, as well as our family — you, the players who hit the pitch every day and helped us improve and evolve with your daily suggestions — and we couldn’t be more thankful.
Not everything was fun and games, as you know. We are facing one of the hardest crypto winters the industry has ever seen, which is putting many business models to the test. Our play-and-earn model at MetaSoccer is always evolving, and we are committed to analyzing it with the goal of making it even better, and to do so we highly value the insights and perspectives of both community users and investors.
