Last week we presented the first tournaments based on the division system: the MetaSoccer Custom League.
The competition officially starts on May 13, so it’s time to present the detailed rules.
There will be three independent and parallel leagues — America, Europe and Asia. The division system used for each league consists of groups of 16 teams, with the 1st division having a single group of 16, the 2nd division having four groups of 16, and so on. The last division (currently the 3rd division) will only have 14 teams in each group.
Each season lasts 30 days, with each team playing one match per day. At the end of each season, the two top teams in each division group will be promoted to the next level, while the bottom eight teams will be relegated to the division below.
In addition, each season the top four teams from each 1st division (America, Europe, Asia) will compete in the SuperLeague (rules & rewards will be shared in a dedicated article).
The creators and managers of the MetaSoccer Custom League are MetaSoccer Academy and Club Atlético del Montón — they will manage the registrations, the groups organization, the tournaments creation, the division jumps, the dates and the rules.
We will share the news regarding the competition in our social media, but to make sure you don’t miss anything, we highly recommend following the creators in Youtube (MetaSoccer Academy) and Twitter (MetaSoccer Academy - Club Atlético del Montón).
The MetaSoccer Custom League is open to all. To participate you just have to complete the registration form — you can register a maximum of 16 teams for each zone (America, Europe, Asia). If you register while the season is ongoing, you will start competing the next season.
You can participate in other tournaments while competing in the MetaSoccer Custom League. But be mindful when signing up for multiple tournaments — the number of matches per day is different in each competition, so the condition of your players could be too low, or schedules could even clash.
After the tournament ends, it's a simple click of a button to distribute rewards, and anyone can do it.
The 1st and 2nd division of the MetaSoccer Custom League will be sponsored. The total prize pool for each division group will be the following:
The prize pool model will be the following:
The SuperLeague will also be sponsored. We will share all the information regarding this competition in a dedicated article, but keep in mind that the entry fee will be zero, which will make the competition very appealing. Climb to the top of the divisions to save your place to participate in the SuperLeague!
The division system allows for a constant flow of talent and competitiveness throughout the league, as teams are constantly striving to improve their performance and move up to the next level. Moreover, it also ensures that every team has an opportunity to compete at their own level, regardless of their current skill level or experience.

You can register a maximum of 16 teams for each zone (America, Europe, Asia). It is necessary to complete the registration form for each of them and wait until the organizers contact you.
