As we witness the overwhelming success and positive reception of Custom Tournaments, we couldn't be happier with the passion and dedication of our community.
Today, we are happy to announce a new sponsored tournament organized by Ola Guild Games that promises to bring new players to the game: the MetaSoccer Ola District.
In this tournament, Ola GG will provide a selection of teams, and those who sign up will be assigned one of these teams to compete with. The main aim is to introduce the game to a wider audience and allow the competition winners to enter the MetaSoccer community thanks to the prizes they have earned.
The MetaSoccer Ola District is a divisions-based tournament where divisions known as districts will form the foundation of the competition. In District 1, a group of 16 managers will battle it out to prove their mettle. District 2 consists of two groups, each comprising 16 managers, and District 3 is composed of five groups, also with 16 managers in each group.
Each season of the tournament spans 15 days, during which participants will engage in fierce competition, playing two matches per day. It's an exhilarating race against time as managers strategize and make tactical decisions to secure victories and climb the leaderboard.
At the end of each season, the six lowest-ranking managers from District 1 face relegation to District 2, while the top three managers from each group in District 2 earn a well-deserved promotion to District 1. On the other hand, the five lowest-ranking managers from each group in District 2 are relegated to District 3, while the two highest-performing managers from each group in District 3 ascend to District 2.
The creator and manager of the MetaSoccer Ola District is Ola GG — they will manage the registrations, the groups organization, the tournaments creation, the division jumps, the dates and the rules. We recommend following them on Twitter (OLA Guild Games) to make sure you don’t miss anything.
Participating in the MetaSoccer Ola District tournament is as simple as visiting the MetaSoccer section in the Ola GG website and applying for a scholarship. Then, you will receive a confirmation email.
The top performers in each district will receive prizes in the form of both MSU and MetaSoccer Players. These prizes will serve as a key to unlock the vast potential and possibilities within MetaSoccer, enabling the winners to create their own teams and delve deeper into the soccer metaverse.
MSU prizes come from sponsorship as there is no entry fee to participate in the MetaSoccer Ola District competition. The total prize pool for each district group will be the following:

MetaSoccer Players will be distributed by Ola GG to the top manager from each group in each district:
